ASU football continued its recruiting push into California, picking up a pair of four-star commitments from a California high school during the Under Armour All-America game.

On Thursday, Folsom High School four-star teammates wide receiver Elijhah Badger and all-purpose back Daniyel Ngata committed to the Sun Devils.

Badger was named to the ALL-USA Offense Second Team this season. He had 79 receptions for 1,386 yards and 20 touchdowns and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, according to MaxPreps.

He is listed on the 247Sports Composite as the No. 23 wide receiver, No. 15 player in California and No. 126 player in the country. Badger committed to ASU over Oregon and USC, among 15 other offers.

Ngata had more than 1,000 all-purpose yards as he had 106 carries for 697 yards and 12 touchdowns, 27 receptions for 193 yards, and took on occasional kick and punt return duties, according to MaxPreps.

He is listed on the 247Sports Composite as the No. 2 all-purpose back, No. 9 player in California and No. 80 player in the recruiting class. He had 24 offers.

The Sun Devils finished Thursday with seven four-star commits.

ASU has had a particularly strong presence in California this recruiting cycle, picking up more four-star recruits in the Golden State than any California school as of Thursday.

The Sun Devils received commitments from six of the 30 players in the state listed as four-star prospects on the 247Sports rankings.

Oregon and Washington are next with four such prospects apiece. Stanford has two, USC has one and UCLA and University of California do not have any. Three of those 30 players have yet to commit as of Thursday.

With the additions of Badger and Ngata, ASU jumped to the No. 24 recruiting class and No. 4 in the Pac-12 on the 247Sports site. The average recruit rank is the highest ASU has achieved going back to 2002.
