The Arizona Coyotes will turn to goaltender Adin Hill as the starter on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers, according to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro.
Antti Raanta had been replacing the injured Darcy Kuemper, but Raanta got hurt in Saturday’s win over the Philadelphia Flyers and is day-to-day with a lower body injury.
Raanta was not a full participant in practice on Monday, per The Athletic’s Craig Morgan.
Per Rick Tocchet, Antti Raanta told goalie coach Corey Schwab he felt half decent to start practice and then “it started bugging him” so he came off the ice. Still not certain who will start against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday but Adin Hill seems likely.

Hill filled in for Raanta on Saturday and gave up two goals. The 23-year-old has appeared in one other game this season, a loss on Dec. 28 to the Vegas Golden Knights in which he replaced Raanta, who had given up four goals on 16 shots.
Over his three years with the Coyotes, Hill has started in 15 games and made 19 total appearances. He has a goals against average of 2.89 and a save percentage of .901. For the Tucson Roadrunners in the AHL this season, Hill has won nine of his 12 starts with a goals against average of 2.77 and save percentage of .907.
Hill will presumably be backed up by Ivan Prosvetov, who the Coyotes recalled from the Tucson Roadrunners on Monday.
All four of the team’s goaltenders are traveling with the team for the first game of a three-game road trip, per Morgan.
