The Arizona Cardinals have brought back a defensive end cut from the 53-man roster just a day prior.

Arizona announced Wednesday it has re-signed DE Michael Dogbe to the practice squad.

Dogbe was cut on Tuesday in an effort to make room for recently signed defensive lineman Angelo Blackson. The team also signed tight end Jordan Thomas and punter Richie Leone to the practice squad, while cutting tight end Dylan Cantrell.

Dogbe played in eight games with the Cardinals as a rookie in 2019.

He recorded eight tackles, one for a loss, and a QB hit. Dogbe made at least one tackle in each of the four games he played in.

Before being drafted by the Cardinals last season, Dogbe spent five years at Temple. His senior campaign was his best, as he recorded 72 tackles, 12.5 of which were for losses, 7.0 sacks and three forced fumbles.

All told, he amassed 158 tackles, 19.5 for loss, 8.0 sacks and five forced fumbles for Temple.
