Keep an eye out for former ASU football players when the NFL kicks off on Sunday.
Going into the weekend, seven Seven Sun Devils were on 53-man rosters, one was on injured reserve and four were on practice squads, according to the university.
Two ASU players were drafted in 2020: wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who was selected by the San Francisco 49ers, and Eno Benjamin, who went to the Arizona Cardinals.
Aiyuk is questionable for the Niners game Sunday against the Cardinals.
Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Renell Wren, who played for the Sun Devils from 2014-18, is on injured reserve with a right quad injury.
Here is the list of former Sun Devils who are rostered on NFL teams, along with the years they played for ASU:
Brandon Aiyuk (2018-19), WR, San Francisco 49ers
Aiyuk, who had more than 1,800 all-purpose yards as a senior, was drafted with the No. 25 pick this offseason by the Niners, the highest selection of an ASU player since Terrell Suggs in 2003.
Eno Benjamin (2017-19), RB, Arizona Cardinals
The three-year ASU running back was drafted to the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2020 draft and made the active roster. He is listed as the third running back, behind Kenyan Drake and Chase Edmonds.
Jamil Douglas (2010-14), OL, Tennessee Titans
Douglas, who has played for four teams in four seasons, played 15 games and started five for the Tennessee Titans last year. Four of his starts were at right guard and one was at center.
Zane Gonzalez (2013-16), K, Arizona Cardinals
Gonzalez, the most accomplished kicker in ASU history, scored the fourth-most points and made the fourth-most field goals in 2019. He was named a Pro Bowl alternate.
Lawrence Guy (2008-10), DL, New England Patriots
Lawrence Guy, heading into his 11th NFL season, is the longest tenured Sun Devil among active players. Selected in the seventh round of the 2011 draft, Guy has played for four NFL teams and is now a captain on the New England Patriots.
Matt Haack (2013-16), P, Miami Dolphins
Haack, who has played in the NFL for three seasons, has been the starting punter since his first year with the Miami Dolphins. He averages 44.7 yards on 239 career punts and in 2018 set a Dolphins single-season record for punts inside the 20.
N’Keal Harry (2016-18), WR, New England Patriots
Selected with the No. 32 pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, Harry appeared in eight games as a rookie. He started five and finished the season with 12 catches for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Renell Wren (2014-18), DL, Cincinnati Bengals
Wren will miss a large chunk of this season due to his quad injury, but he played 11 games and started two as a rookie last season after being a fourth-round draft pick.
Here are players on practice squads:
Quinn Bailey (2014-18), OT, Denver Broncos
Cohl Cabral (2016-19), OL, Los Angeles Rams
D.J. Foster (2012-15), RB, Arizona Cardinals
Note: Foster was activated by the Cardinals on Saturday, but it is likely due to the NFL’s roster flexibility this season and will return to the practice squad Monday.
Tommy Hudson (2015-19), TE, Tennessee Titans
