ASU baseball’s recruiting has been on a tear over the last half-decade.
The Sun Devils’ latest haul nets them their fourth top-10 recruiting class in the past five years, as ranked by College Baseball News.
The 2020 class joins 2019 (8th nationally), 2017 (4th) and 2016 (top-ranked nationally) as finishing in the top-10 in the NCAA.
The team’s most recent recruiting class is currently ranked 10th by the site.
The Sun Devils are one of three programs (along with Florida and LSU) to have four or more top-10 recruiting classes during the last five years.
ASU’s 2020 class is highlighted by Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year Jack Moss, who is the fourth-ranked first baseman in the country according to Perfect Game.
Tempe’s Hunter Haas will look to plug in the gap left by Alika Williams at shortstop next spring, while flamethrower Ethan Long of Mountain Pointe will look to bolster the team’s pitching staff.
