The free agency cycle continued to spin Friday afternoon, as the Arizona Coyotes lost forward Vinnie Hinostroza to the Florida Panthers.
Hinostroza, who came to the desert in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2018, netted 21 goals and 40 assists in two seasons with the Coyotes.

The Coyotes have been quite active in the early days of the NHL’s free agency cycle, signing right wing Tyler Pitlick and forward John Hayden, in addition to not trading captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
Arizona Sports previously reported that the Coyotes would part ways with free agent forward Taylor Hall on Wednesday.
The Coyotes are currently $132,765 under the NHL’s $81.5 million salary cap, according to Sportrac, meaning they’ll likely have to shed money to make any more moves during this year’s free agency window.
