The Arizona State Sun Devils’ 70-7 victory over the rival Arizona Wildcats to close the 2020 football season was historic.
Sun Devil fans are making sure nobody between Tucson and Tempe will forget it. How?
A large billboard along Interstate 10 near Casa Grande has appeared.

The maroon and gold sign reads “NO PITY FOR THE KITTY” in between the last Territorial Cup score “70-7” sitting inside two Sun Devil logos.
The billboard was paid for by VIP members of SunDevilSource.com, according to the website. It faces northbound traffic on the interstate heading from Tucson to the Phoenix area.

The 63-point loss on Dec. 11 that was represented on the billboard was the largest for any team in the rivalry and ultimately led to the firing of Arizona head coach Kevin Sumlin.
The Wildcats have since hired Jedd Fisch to repair a program that’s struggled on the recruiting front, on the football field and even in selling itself to Arizona fans and the team’s former football players.
Indeed, the new signage is showing no pity.
