The Phoenix Suns will be without Cam Johnson when they take on the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
The team announced the forward will miss the final contest before the All-Star break due to health and safety protocols.
This season, Johnson is averaging 10.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24.2 minutes per game. He’s shooting 43.7% from the field and 37.8% from 3-point land.
He’s started nine of the 34 games played.
In the team’s 114-104 win against the Los Angeles Lakers, Johnson chipped in nine points and an assist. He got some added run when Devin Booker was ejected following a double-technical.
With Johnson out, forward Abdel Nader could be in line for extended minutes Thursday night.
Nader is averaging 5.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 18 games played this season since coming over as part of the trade that brought Chris Paul to the Valley.
Phoenix will look to make it four straight wins when they tip off against the visiting Warriors.
