The Arizona Diamondbacks made three roster moves on Sunday.
The team announced that right-handed pitcher Matt Peacock is being optioned to Triple-A Reno.
Additionally, RHP Josh Green and LHP Sam Moll are being reassigned to Minor League camp.
As a result, the D-backs are now down to 51 players at spring training camp.
Peacock, 27, was drafted by Arizona in the 23rd round of the 2017 MLB Draft out of South Alabama and spent 2019 with Double-A Jackson.
In one appearance for D-backs this spring training, the right-hander threw two innings of shutout ball and struck out three of the six batters that he faced.
Green, 25, was drafted by the Diamondbacks in the 14th round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Southeastern Louisiana.
The right-hander made three appearances (one start) for Arizona this spring, allowing four earned runs on six hits while striking out six over seven innings of work.
Moll was originally drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the third round out of Memphis in the 2013 MLB Draft and is the only one of the three with Major League experience, albeit a brief sting with the Oakland A’s in 2017.
The 29-year-old lefty threw for 2.2 innings of scoreless baseball in his three spring training appearances for the D-backs in 2021. Of the 10 batters he faced, only one recorded a hit while three struck out.
