Devin Booker set another historic mark in his playoff career during Tuesday’s Game 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.

After posting 31 points, the Phoenix Suns guard joined elite company as one of only four players to score 30+ points in their first two career playoff games, according to ESPN Stats and Info.

With less than eight seconds left in the game, Booker hit three free throws after being fouled by Dennis Schroder to reach the record-setting point total. It was the last Suns score of the game, which they ultimately lost 109-102.

Teammate Chris Paul was the last to do so in 2008 with the New Orleans Hornets, while Julius Erving and Lew Alcindor accomplished the feat in the 1970s.

Booker put up 34 points in his playoff debut Sunday, leading Phoenix to a 99-90 win. It was the most ever by a Suns player in their postseason debut.

While it wasn’t a playoff debut, Amar’e Stoudemire was the last player in the franchise to record back-to-back 30-point playoff games in 2008.
