For the second time in one week, Arizona Diamondbacks center fielder Ketel Marte left a game in the first inning due to a hamstring injury.
After ripping a line drive to right field that looked like it could have been extra bases, Marte pulled up with a stiff leg and grimace after making the turn and retreating to first base.

He was also removed from the game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday on a similar play.
A hamstring injury earlier this season led to a stint on the injured list that kept him out of the lineup from April 7 to May 19.
Marte was replaced in the lineup by Josh Reddick who went to right field while Pavin Smith slid over from right to center.
Arizona was able to capitalize on the hit by Marte as Reddick came around to score on a RBI by Eduardo Escobar, the next batter.
The Diamondbacks carried a 1-0 lead after the first inning.
The team would go on to win the game 10-1 to snap an eight-game winning streak for the San Diego Padres and snap their own MLB-record 24-game road losing streak.
