The Phoenix Suns will take on the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals after the Bucks earned a Game 6 win over the Atlanta Hawks to win the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Bucks took down the Hawks 118-107 despite playing without All-NBA First Team recipient Giannis Antetetokounmpo.

It sets up a Game 1 matchup at Phoenix Suns Arena on Tuesday with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

The Suns were the first team to earn its berth in the NBA Finals after taking down the Los Angeles Clippers in six games in the Western Conference Finals.

Phoenix also took down the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets in the first two rounds of the playoffs.

The Bucks had to battle their way through the early rounds by beating the Miami Heat and a second round series against the Brooklyn Nets that lasted seven games.

For the Suns, it is a chance for the franchise to earn its first NBA championship ever.

The Bucks last won a title in 1971. They last appeared in the NBA Finals in 1974.

Milwaukee was powered by Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday who scored 32 and 27 points, respectively in the closeout Game 6.

Antetokounmpo suffered an injury to his left knee in Game 4 after landing awkwardly on a blocked shot attemp.

He missed Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, a game that the Bucks won handily in a 123-112 final.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for Thursday in Phoenix.

Games 3 and 4 are scheduled for July 11 and July 14, respectively.

Games 5, 6 and 7 are scheduled for July 17, 20 and 22, respectively and if necessary.

All games can be heard on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
