The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that guard Justin Pugh has landed on the COVID-19 list and re-signed linebacker Reggie Walker in a corresponding move.
According to AZCardinals.com, Pugh started 15 games at LG in 2020 for the NFL’s sixth-ranked offense and seventh-ranked rushing attack, helping Arizona gain the third-most total net yards (6,153) and score the fifth-most points (410) in franchise history.
Pugh was originally drafted as a first round selection (No. 19 overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
Reggie Walker last played for the Cardinals in 2020-21 season as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Kansas State.
Walker played 50 games (47 starts) at Kansas State and recorded 140 tackles (101 solo), 18 sacks, 35 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and five passes defensed in his collegiate career.
The linebacker appeared on the active roster twice this last season, recording one tackle in his NFL debut in the Cardinals Monday Night Football win over the Dallas Cowboys.
