Arizona high school products Rattler, Robinson are preseason AP All-Americans

Arizona’s two largest metropolitan areas each landed a representative on the 2021 Associated Press All-America team.
Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Spencer Ratter out of Pinnacle High School in Phoenix and Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson, who went to Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, both made the first team.
The preseason All-America team was released Monday, five days before the first college football games of the season kick off.
Notre Dame and Iowa State each had three players selected to The Associated Press preseason All-America team.
Eight teams have at least two first-team All-Americans, with seventh-ranked Iowa State and ninth-ranked Notre Dame leading the way.
