The Arizona Cardinals will be without center Max Garcia for the team’s Thursday Night Football tilt against the Green Bay Packers.
Garcia, who was questionable with an Achilles injury, did not practice at all during the short week.
In his place is Sean Harlow, who is the team’s third option at center behind Rodney Hudson (injured reserve) and Garcia and is making his first NFL start. This will be Harlow’s first crack at center reps, having played right guard in spurts previously this season. He’s seen 15% of the team’s offensive snaps (53) in 2021.
Backing up Harlow will be Justin Pugh.
And as reported early in the day, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is officially active. He’s joined by tight end Darrell Daniels, who was limited throughout the week with a hamstring issue.
Other Cardinals inactives include defensive linemen Rashard Lawrence and J.J. Watt, quarterback Chris Streveler, wide receiver Andy Isabella, running back Eno Benjamin.
As for the Packers, offensive lineman Dennis Kelly (back) and cornerback Kevin King (shoulder/back) are officially inactive. Joining them are linebackers Jaylon Smith and La’Darius Hamilton, safety Vernon Scott and defensive lineman Jack Heflin.
Linebacker Preston Brown (oblique) is active, however.
The Cardinals take on the Packers at 5:20 p.m. Tune to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station for tall the action.
