Arizona State senior running back Rachaad White is headed to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.

The Sun Devil accepted his invitation Wednesday, afterward tweeting, “Blessing appreciate the opportunity.”

The Senior Bowl gives NFL draft prospects the chance to showcase in front of coaches and scouts ahead of the Super Bowl.

White has been collecting accolades throughout this season, most recently taking home the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week award Monday for the second straight game.

He gained 237 all-purpose yards against the Washington Huskies Saturday night. White scored the go-ahead 10-yard touchdown run with 1:11 left in the fourth quarter. That was his second score of the evening.

White ran for 202 yards and three touchdowns the week before against USC, another win for ASU.

He is tied for the Pac-12 lead in touchdown runs with 14 and is third in rushing yards.

The Sun Devil is also second on his team in receptions with 34, just two shy of wide receiver Ricky Pearsall. He’s accomplished this while having missed a game.

This year’s Senior Bowl is set for Feb. 5 from Hancock Whitney Stadium at the University of South Alabama.

Wide receiver Frank Darby was the sole Sun Devil who played in it last year. He later got drafted by the Atlanta Falcons.

White will take the field Saturday as ASU visits Oregon State in Corvallis.

Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. Catch all the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
