The Arizona Cardinals on Thursday designated running back Chase Edmonds, long snapper Aaron Brewer and safety Charles Washington to return off the injured reserve list.
They can immediately join practices and have 21-day windows to be activated to the roster.
Additionally, Arizona activated running back Jonathan Ward from the COVID-19 reserve list and re-signed fellow back Tavien Feaster to the practice squad after releasing him earlier this week.
Edmonds (ankle) has not played since a Nov. 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers and remains second on the team with 430 rushing yards.
He is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and has added 30 catches for 211 receiving yards while splitting snaps with James Conner.
Brewer (arm) also was lost to injury in the team’s second win over the 49ers this season. The Cardinals signed veteran Beau Brinkley to replace Brewer as the latter went to IR.
Washington (hamstring) has not played since a Week 3 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The backup safety played the majority of special teams snaps in the first two weeks of the year before he was injured.
