Arizona Cardinals defensive backs coach Marcus Robertson will not be on the sideline Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams due to COVID-19 protocols, the team announced Sunday.
Robertson’s game-day duties will be taken over by other members of the defensive coaching staff.
The Cardinals have had several coaches miss games this season due to COVID-19.
In Week 6, head coach Kliff Kingsbury and quarterbacks coach Cam Turner both had to stay home when the team flew to Cleveland.
Special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers, running backs coach James Saxon and assistant offensive line coach Brian Natkin all missed Arizona’s Week 9 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cardinals do not have a player on the COVID-19 reserve list heading into Monday. They recently activated running back Jonathan Ward from the list on Thursday.
Robertson is in his third season with the Cardinals after coming over with defensive coordinator Vance Joseph from the Denver Broncos.
His work with safety Jalen Thompson was praised by Kingsbury recently.
