Arizona State kicker Cristian Zendejas has reportedly entered the transfer portal for the second time in his Sun Devil career, according to reports.
Zendejas previously entered the transfer portal in Jan. 2021 before returning to the team.
He had a promising first year in 2019 going 23-for-27 on field goals and 19-for-20 on extra points.
The Sun Devils were in the market for a new kicker after Zendejas went 10-for-15 on field goals over the 2021-22 campaigns.
He did show consistency from short distance kicks but struggled with long range as his longest kick of last season was 40 yards.
ASU added another kicker to their roster via the transfer portal on Friday in Colorado State’s Robert Liss.
The No. 6 rated kicker in the class of 2022 according to 247sports, Carter Brown, has signed with the Sun Devils and will be in play with Liss as well as a few others for the starting job next season.
