Former Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald and Patrick Peterson are among the group of celebrities playing in the Annexus Pro-Am at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open.
Peterson, along with former MLB pitcher CC Sabathia, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen and Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, were the latest additions to the Pro-Am that will be held next Wednesday at TPC Scottsdale.
After playing 10 seasons with the Cardinals, Peterson tested free agency this past offseason, eventually signing with the Vikings. In 2021, the cornerback recorded 45 tackles and an interception over 13 games and has become a regular at the WM Phoenix Open.
Cardinals fans will remember when Peterson used the setting of No. 16 back in 2019 to apologize for his trade request in the middle of the season.
As a member of the Cardinals, Peterson was named an All-Pro three times (2011, 2013, 2015) and made eight consecutive Pro Bowls from 2011-18.
Both Thielen and Goff will be making their first appearances at the WM Phoenix Open, while Fitzgerald is a usual participant.
