Former Arizona State Sun Devil Rachaad White turned heads in Mobile this week, having an impressive week of practice, capped off with a stellar outing in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Saturday.
White showed the kind of playmaker ASU fans saw all season, showcasing his ability as a running back as well as a pass-catcher.
He saw most of his work in the first half playing on the National team in the Senior Bowl, having 29 yards on seven carries. White also caught one pass for seven yards in the first frame.
My first half #SeniorBowl winners:
• Liberty QB Malik Willis
• Baylor RB Abram Smith
• Arizona St. RB Rachaad White
• Boston College OL Zion Johnson
• Minnesota EDGE Boye Mafe
• Appalachian St LB D'Marco Jackson— Jacob Infante (@jacobinfante24) February 5, 2022
White didn’t get much burn in the second half with both teams in the Senior Bowl rotating players at a premium. However, he did rip off his longest carry (18 yards) of the afternoon in the second half and finished the game with 52 yards, which led all players.
The week of practice was vital for prospects looking to improve their draft stock and White was able to show off his speed, as well as his pass protection skills.
