The Tempe native and former Corona Del Sol High School athlete had 48 receptions for 580 yards and four touchdowns during his junior year last season.
He was a consensus three-star recruit out of high school after earning 2018 Arizona Football Coaches Association All-6A First Team selection.
Pearsall caught seven passes in 13 games as a true freshman in 2019 then had six receptions in four games during the COVID-19 pandemic-affected 2020 season.
He broke out as quarterback Jayden Daniels’ favorite target in 2021.
Daniels also joined an SEC school this offseason, transferring to LSU.
Pearsall caught a career-high nine passes against Washington State on Oct. 30 last year and had two multi-touchdown games.
He now heads east to play for head coach and former ASU offensive coordinator Billy Napier.
ASU’s current wide receiver depth includes Bryan Thompson, Andre Johnson, Elijhah Badger and Vanderbilt transfer Cam Johnson.
The Sun Devils’ new-look offense also includes former Florida quarterback Emory Jones.
