After going 2-0 in bets against teammate Cam Johnson and the Arizona Diamondbacks, Mikal Bridges is living out what “could be” his best birthday ever.

Mikal Bridges Appreciation Day comes after Arizona lost a bet to the forward after losing a series in Philadelphia to the Phillies earlier this season.

“I am a betting man on the low,” Bridges told reporters pregame.

“Nothing crazy, really controllable, not harmful, but I have been winning some bets lately.”

The appreciation day fell on the same day as Bridges’ birthday and his favorite baseball team came in to town.

“If the Phillies win too, this going to be the greatest birthday ever,” Bridges said.

“Nah, I just want a good game. And for the Phillies to win. I can’t lie, I can’t lie.”

Although, Bridges is a diehard Phillies fan, the Valley boy was wearing a customized D-backs No. 25 Bridges jersey pregame.

The Suns forward was wearing a Phillies shirt underneath his jersey.

He was joined by fellow teammates Cam Johnson and Cam Payne who were also donning their own customized D-backs jerseys.

Bridges also threw out the first pitch Tuesday, ripping a throw just a bit outside for a ball as the crowd cheered him on.

“It’s nice. I don’t take anything for granted. Like I said, so surreal,” Bridges said.

“Even this, I feel like a prospect, I feel like they just drafted me and I am about to go play.”

The Suns players all soaked in the scoring, including Payne watching his favorite player, Jake McCarthy.

Payne even tweeted that he was purchasing a McCarthy jersey on Tuesday night.

Throughout the game, the D-backs posted some fun “facts” up on the jumbotron.
