Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner is questionable to return against the Las Vegas Raiders with an ankle injury.
Conner looked like he was rolled up on in the third quarter.
Per Cardinals sideline reporter Paul Calvisi, Conner went into the blue tent and had both his ankles taped up. The running back was seen testing out his ankle on the sideline.
Conner had rushed for 25 yards on seven carries before going down with the injury. He added 26 yards on two catches (four targets).
It’s a tough loss for a Cardinals offense that has only found the end zone one time in Las Vegas. As a team, Arizona has rushed for 68 yards on 14 carries.
With Conner’s return up in the air, Eno Benjamin and Darrel Williams are sharing backfield duties. Benjamin leads the pair on the ground with 21 yards on four carries. Quarterback Kyler Murray also has one rush for 10 yards.
The Cardinals trail the Raiders 23-7 in the fourth quarter, with Arizona’s lone score coming on a five-yard touchdown pass from Murray to wide receiver Greg Dortch. It marked Dortch’s first career touchdown over nine games played. He currently has two catches for 34 yards.
