The Phoenix Suns have waived forward Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and guards Adonis Arms and Saben Lee, the team announced on Saturday.

The moves come after Arms and Lee were signed to a training camp deal on Tuesday, while Luwawu-Cabarrot joined the team on Sept. 24.

Phoenix’s roster now sits at 16 players, including a pair of two-way contracts, ahead of the season opener on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks at Footprint Center.

That game tips off at 7 p.m. and can be heard on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.

Lee played in the Suns’ 105-104 loss to the Sacramento Kings at Footprint Center in the final preseason game on Wednesday night. He posted nine points, three assists and one rebound in 14 minutes played.

Lee is a local product who attended Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe before playing his college ball at Vanderbilt. He was taken No. 38 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft and was acquired by the Detroit Pistons on draft night.

In two seasons with Detroit, the 6-foot-2, 183-pound guard played a total of 1,385 minutes and averaged 5.6 points a night.

Lee was part of the trade that saw the Pistons send Kelly Olynyk to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic in September. The Jazz then waived Lee during training camp.

Arms, 26, is also a Valley native who graduated from Desert Vista High School before attending Mesa Community College from 2016-18 and going undrafted out of Texas Tech in 2022.

Luwawu-Cabarrot, 27, has six years of NBA experience after being taken No. 24 overall out of France in the 2016 draft.

In his tenure with the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks, the 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward averaged 5.9 points and 2.0 rebounds per game while shooting 39.1% from the floor and 33.5% from three across 328 career games (60 starts).
