Arizona Coyotes announce desert sienna reverse retro alternate jerseys

Oct 20, 2022, 8:20 AM

Adidas and the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday revealed the NHL team’s 2022-23 reverse retro jerseys, a desert sienna alternate that taps into the team’s history.

The look is inspired by the 1998-2003 era uniforms but takes on earth tones.

The front features the classic Coyotes logo from the Kachina jerseys, and the sienna base color drops into a brown skyline with green cacti along the bottom. The sublimated desert scene includes the team’s crescent moon logo, and a gecko shoulder patch sits on the right side.

“We are extremely excited to introduce our new desert Sienna Reverse Retro alternate jersey,” Coyotes president and CEO Xavier Gutierrez said in a release. “Our fans loved our purple Reverse Retro jersey, and we are confident that they will also be impressed with the cool changes to this classic jersey – especially the unique color that was inspired from our Kachina head logo.

The team will wear the alternate jerseys for six games.

– Nov. 3 versus Dallas Stars
– Dec. 23 versus Los Angeles Kings
– Dec. 29 versus Toronto Maple Leafs
– Jan. 12 versus Ottawa Senators
– Jan. 19 versus Washington Capitals
– Jan. 26 versus St. Louis Blues
