HBO debuts new trailer ahead of Arizona Cardinals debut on Hard Knocks

Nov 1, 2022, 11:15 AM

HBO has released a trailer on Tuesday for the upcoming Hard Knocks series that will follow the Arizona Cardinals.

The show premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 9, and will document the inner workings of the team through a stretch of the regular season.

The trailer begins on a high note with clips from the team’s comeback win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the second game of the season.

There are also several clips of team leaders speaking in the locker room and during practice like D.J. Humphries, J.J. Watt and Budda Baker trying to motivate their teammates.

Wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Robbie Anderson also made appearances in the trailer, which could mean that the show will delve into the drama at that position after Hopkins was forced to serve a six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug policy and Anderson was traded to the team midseason.

It will be the first time the Cardinals franchise will be featured in a Hard Knocks series, which was originally started in 2001.

The show featured the Detroit Lions in training camp this season and the Indianapolis Colts in season last year.

It premiers at a pivot point for the Cardinals as they face three consecutive division opponents on the road after falling to 3-5 with a loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8.

The Cardinals battle the first place Seattle Seahawks three days before the premiere of the show.
