Arizona Cardinals starting right tackle Kelvin Beachum is officially active for the team’s Week 17 tilt against the Atlanta Falcons.
The lineman entered the matchup as questionable with knee and ankle issues.
Beachum missed practice Wednesday before returning in a limited fashion the rest of the week.
The veteran represents the only opening-day starter to have played in every game this season.
But while Beachum is active for the matchup in Atlanta, the same can’t be said for cornerback Marco Wilson, who is out Sunday due to a neck injury.
In 14 games played (13 starts), Wilson has recorded three interceptions, 58 tackles, 10 passes defensed and one QB hit.
He joins wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee), defensive lineman Zach Allen (hand), quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion), cornerback Antonio Hamilton (hip), linebacker Victor Dimukeje and offensive lineman Rashaad Coward as out. Tight end Stephen Anderson was ruled out after the inactives were announced due to an illness.
With both Wilson and Hamilton sidelined, expect a heavier dose of rookie cornerback Christian Matthew along with Josh Jackson and Jace Whittaker.
As for the Falcons, tight end Feleipe Franks (concussion), cornerback Rashad Fenton, safety Micah Abernathy, linebacker David Anenih, guard Elijah Wilkinson (calf) and defensive lineman Matt Dickerson are inactive.
Wilkinson entered the matchup as questionable after logging just one day of practice this week.
