Oklahoma State is throwing it back to celebrate its 125th season of football during homecoming Saturday when Arizona State rolls into Stillwater.
The Cowboys are wearing black and orange uniforms with matte black helmets featuring an “OA” logo that was the emblem of the O.A. Association, which was organized by athletes who played for then-Oklahoma A&M College.

That lettering appeared on the school’s uniforms from 1909-13.
The front of the facemasks includes an OAMC logo. Oklahoma State will also don a special “125” decal for its 125 years as a program.
While the jerseys and pants are the standard modern uniforms, the throwback theme will be highlighted with arm and leg sleeves of black with orange stripes. The Cowboys were the Tigers until the early 1920s, when they became the Aggies until the school changed the mascot to the Cowboys.
