What is Baron Browning’s game status for Cardinals in Week 10?

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said the team is still evaluating whether or not recent trade acquisition and pass rusher Baron Browning will be active this week against the New York Jets.
Browning continues to get up to speed after Arizona added the outside linebacker ahead of the NFL trade deadline on Monday.
“Everybody’s different, every situation’s different,” Gannon said Friday. “What goes overlooked is the mental part of the game with these guys. What they do on a day-to-day basis and to get ready to play a game is mind boggling I think if you knew what they actually have to know.
“There’s a lot that goes into it, the mental part of the game. You just try to get them caught up to speed as quick as you can and hopefully, they can impact the game for you.”

The Cardinals traded a sixth-round pick for Browning, who said he was ready for a fresh start in Arizona on Wednesday following his arrival.
Through five games (two starts) this season, Browning has registered seven tackles, one of which for loss.
It hasn’t been the start to 2024 Browning envisioned after having to battle back from an IR stint due to a foot injury suffered in Week 2.
“I’m just taking it day by day,” Browning said Wednesday. “I’d like to play this week but trusting in the coaches and taking it day by day and following the plan they have for me.”
Browning had played in Denver’s last three games before the deal and has not shown up on Arizona’s injury report in any capacity this week.
The Cardinals take on the Jets on Sunday at 2:25 p.m. from State Farm Stadium.
