Phoenix Suns guards Bradley Beal and Grayson Allen have been ruled out Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
Beal suffered a calf contusion that took him out of crunch time against the Utah Jazz in a win Tuesday, while Allen is nursing hamstring soreness, according to the Suns.
Center Jusuf Nurkic is not listed on the Wednesday injury report. He had missed the visit to Utah after hurting his ankle Sunday in Phoenix’s last game against the Kings.
For Sacramento, bench scorer Malik Monk is listed as out with a right ankle sprain suffered against Phoenix on Sunday.
If the Suns’ guard rotation is shortened with Beal or Allen out, Phoenix could turn to backup point guard Monte Morris and shooter Damion Lee to eat up more minutes. Morris specifically saw an increased role Tuesday against the Jazz.
Nurkic started Sunday against Sacramento after being listed with ankle soreness but departed late in the first half. Mason Plumlee and rookie Oso Ighodaro filled in for the rest of that game and again Tuesday.
Tipoff for the Suns at the Kings is set for 8 p.m. MST. The game will air on Arizona Sports 98.7, the Arizona Sports app and AZ Family 3TV.
