Arizona State football added a second wide receiver to its transfer-portal recruitment in the form of Fresno State’s Jalen Moss on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound sophomore announced his ASU commitment on X just three days after the Kenny Dillingham-led Sun Devils welcomed Clemson wideout Noble Johnson.

Moss appeared in all 24 regular season games for the Bulldogs (6-6) over the past two seasons.
With his transfer portal entrance, Moss will not be playing in Fresno State’s Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Northern Illinois (7-5) on Dec. 23.
Who is Jalen Moss and what value does he bring to ASU football?
Moss hails from Menlo Park, California, and attended Menlo-Atherton High School, which is roughly 30 miles southeast of San Francisco.
In the class of 2022, he was rated as a three-star recruit and the 129th-best wide receiver by 247Sports.
Moss committed to Fresno State in the fall of 2021 after getting offers from Oregon, Nebraska, Oregon State and Mountain West programs New Mexico and UNLV.
The 2024 campaign for Moss saw him come in second on the team in catches (48), yards (563), yards per catch (11.7) and touchdowns (four). He only trailed senior Mac Dalena, whose 947 receiving yards and 16.3 yards per catch had him ranked fourth and third, respectively, in the Mountain West.
Moss finished second on the Bulldogs in both receptions (55) and total yards (706) in 2023, being the top receiver in terms of yardage in three games.
Moss matched or eclipsed five receptions in 10 contests between 2023 and 2024, highlighted by a career-high nine catches (115 yards) in a losing effort to Wyoming on Oct. 7, 2023.
