Kuric, who played for Gran Canaria in Spain last season, was hospitalized in November 2015 with head pain when doctors discovered a tumor. The first surgery was required to remove the abscess diagnosed as meningioma, but Kuric underwent the knife twice more when swelling of his brain caused complications. He returned to training in March, according to The Courier-Journal.
Following four years at Louisville, Kuric has played three years of pro basketball in Spain.
With the Cardinals, Kuric averaged 12.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals during his senior season.
