Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has expressed his dissatisfaction with current punter Drew Butler and another punter is now with the organization.
Former Atlanta Falcons punter Matt Wile was signed to the practice squad by the Cardinals Tuesday.
Wile, 24, played in one game this season and it was against the Cardinals in Week 12. He averaged 58 yards on his two punts in that game and recorded a touchback on all seven of his kickoffs.
Wile has fought for roster spots on the Carolina Panthers in 2015 and the Dallas Cowboys this past offseason before finding a home with the Falcons. Atlanta released him on Nov. 29.
The Cardinals released linebacker Reshard Cliett from the practice squad. He was signed on Nov. 22 and was a sixth-round pick of the Houston Texans in 2015.
