Nike Book 2s honoring unique McDonald’s in northern Arizona revealed
Devin Booker continues to pay homage to Arizona's high country with his Nike Book 2 line, following multiple Book 1s corresponding to Sedona, Flagstaff and other northern areas.

A new colorway of Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2s with turquoise iconography to match a one-of-a-kind McDonald’s location in Sedona was revealed Wednesday.

The turquoise — or sometimes referred to as teal — shoebox features the McDonald’s arches logo in its classic gold coloring on the side, above Booker’s Nike logo in the same color. The “I’m lovin’ it” slogan is featured on one side, and the nods keep coming.
The turquoise arches logo is near the back of the shoe, also plastered on the front of the tongue. The most unique nod to the fast food chain on the shoe comes underneath the tongue, where “drive-thru” is inscribed below an arrow pointing forward.
The Sedona McDonald’s location is not only unique for its turquoise coloring, but also for its lowered arch signage, both of which are in compliance with local building codes.
The Book 2 shoes will retail for $155 with a drop date of June 2, according to Sneaker News.
Turquoise Book 2s the latest in Devin Booker’s love affinity for northern Arizona
It’s been well-documented that Booker, now deeply rooted in Arizona’s culture after getting drafted by Phoenix in 2015, spends much of his in-state time during the summers up north, where he can enjoy cooler weather and more seclusion.
Booker’s fifth training camp in the NBA was the Suns’ last instance traveling up to Flagstaff to train at Northern Arizona University, and the love affinity had been solidified. He trains on his own there now, bringing teammates up at times as well.
The Nike Book 1 fittingly had multiple shoes corresponding to high country areas, with Sedona included. The Book 2s appear to be no different.
“I think it’s all about balance,” Booker told Arizona Sports’ Wolf & Luke ahead of the 2024-25 season. “Living the fast-paced lifestyle we do, having time to sit back and get away and reflect. That’s the perfect place for me.”

How cheesy do these kicks concepts have to be? Devin Booker has completely sold out, and cannot stand on talent at all. What's next? A lizard, a rock, KFCs, Taco Bells, a cactus, a bird, the sky, the moon, the stars? 😂 Book really trying hard to link these scuzzy shoes to something that people relate to... because the people obviously don't relate to Book or the scuzzy shoes, if sales are an indicator.
It's impossible to take the Phoenix Suns seriously anymore until they trade Booker. Mat Ishbia is equally nauseating with his constant need to hog the spotlight and overcompensate. This franchise is unquestionably in worse shape than it was at the tail end of Sarver's tenure.
This is all Booker has left, shoes.
