The Arizona Cardinals’ 2016 regular season-finale will not include rookie defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche.

He’s inactive. Again.

Nkemdiche will miss Sunday’s NFC West matchup against the Los Angeles Rams at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum due to an ankle injury, an issue that’s bothered him on-and-off all season and something that popped up once again this week. He was limited in practice on Thursday and did not participate in Friday’s work.

This is the 10th  time in 16 games Nkemdiche has found his name on the inactive list.

The remaining inactives are quarterback Zac Dysert, wide receiver Marquis Bundy, cornerback Brian Dixon, tackle D.J. Humphries plus defensive tackles Olsen Pierre and Ed Stinson.

Humphries (concussion) had already been ruled out, and he did not make the trip.

Some good news, after missing last week with back and calf trouble, cornerback Marcus Cooper will be in uniform.
For the Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt (shoulder), tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) and cornerback Lamarcus Joyner (ankle) are out due to injury.

The others not in uniform for Los Angeles include quarterback Case Keenum and defensive end Matt Longacre as well as offensive linemen David Arkin and Cody Wichmann.

A win Sunday and the Cardinals would improve to 4-1-1 against the division, with the lone loss against this Rams team in Week 4.

“They beat us at our place and we expect to return the favor,” quarterback Carson Palmer said, before adding about momentum going into next season, “It’s hard to carry over much from the year before, but it definitely sends you off into the offseason the right way. Finishing 2-0 (with) the last two games on the road against good opponents, it might carry over a little bit.”
