Arizona Cardinals sign Cariel Brooks to future contract
The Arizona Cardinals re-signed Cariel Brooks to a future contract. The cornerback appeared in three games for the team in 2015, collecting one tackle.
On Tuesday, the Arizona Cardinals signed 11 players to future contracts.
On Wednesday, they added a 12th in cornerback Cariel Brooks.
Brooks appeared in three games for the Cardinals this past season, collecting one special teams tackle. He was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 12.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound Brooks joined the Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Adams State and spent the first five weeks of the 2015 season on Arizona’s practice squad before being elevated to the active roster on Oct. 14.
The Cardinals will have all offseason to try and improve a roster that went 13-3 in the regular season and reached the NFC Championship Game before falling to the Carolina Panthers 49-15.
