Former Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley thinks there's something serious going on with Ketel Marte's absence.
"For me, this is much deeper than missing a game," Bradley told Bickley & Marotta. "We've talked about the Marte drama the last couple of years. I know this guy, I know his heart, I know the player he is. He doesn't not show up for a game unless something serious is going on, in my opinion.”
Marte has been sent back to Phoenix to undergo an MRI on his knee after he did not show up to the club’s game against the Boston Red Sox on Monday, AZCentral.com’s Nick Piecoro and MLB.com’s Steve Gilbert reported on Tuesday.
