The Arizona Cardinals added to their offensive line depth Wednesday with the addition of center/guard A.Q. Shipley on a two-year contract.

The player himself confirmed the news.

Shipley, 28, was with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012, where he played for now-Cardinals coach Bruce Arians. He was with the Baltimore Ravens in 2013 before returning to Indianapolis in 2014.

The 6-foot-1, 307-pound center started 19 games over the last three seasons. According to ProFootballFocus.com, last season Shipley surrendered zero sacks, three QB hits and five QB hurries in 440 snaps.

Shipley originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ in 2009. He spent that season on Pittsburgh’s practice squad before moving on to the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad in 2010.
