Charles Barkley convinced nobody watched the whole Suns-Grizzlies game

The Phoenix Suns finally made their 2016-17 national television debut Monday night.
That, in itself, isn’t a bad thing.
Of course, it meant a late start time — 8:45 p.m. local time, meaning basketball fans on the east coast would likely stick with the contest as long as it was a good game.
It wasn’t.
The Suns lost their fourth straight game, 115-96, but the final score wasn’t exactly indicative of the flow of the game. Memphis, who shot a blistering 57 percent (16-of-28) from three-point range, led by as many as 30 points in the second half.
The Inside the NBA crew on TNT, including Suns legend Charles Barkley, had a little fun at the conclusion of the contest, suggesting nobody was still watching.
“Not even family and friends,” Barkley joked on the broadcast.
Things got a bit goofy from there, but consider it was after 1:30 a.m. in Atlanta at the TNT studios.
