The college football regular season hasn’t even started and one member of the Arizona State Sun Devils is already earning praise.
After a big year for the Sun Devils and another one projected in 2018, ASU wide receiver N’Keal Harry was selected to the AP Preseason All-America Team.
Ranking 12th in the country in receptions last season, Harry showed he could carry the load as a sophomore. He caught 82 balls for 1,142 yards and eight touchdowns. He averaged 13.9 yards per catch and caught at least three receptions a game.
In back-to-back outings in 2017, against Texas Tech and Oregon, Harry combined for 318 yards and two scores on 20 receptions.
Overall, the wideout has scored 13 times to go along with more than 1,800 yards.
His sophomore numbers didn’t go unnoticed in the NFL world, either.
ESPN’s Todd McShay recently pegged Harry as the No. 18 prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Now a junior, Harry is poised for yet another big season as the team’s unquestioned No. 1 receiver.
Looking at the rest of the Pac-12, Stanford running back Bryce Love, tight end Nate Herbig and Utah kicker Matt Gray earned first-team honors.
Stanford tight end Kaden Smith, USC linebacker Cameron Smith, Oregon linebacker Mack Wilson, Washington cornerback Julian Love and Stanford punter Jake Bailey rounded out the second-team list.
