Arizona Cardinals defensive end Arthur Moats suffered a sprained MCL and is expected to be out for two to four weeks, head coach Steve Wilks announced Monday.
The news comes a day after the Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 27-3.
Moats, 30, is an eight-year veteran of the NFL and previously spent time with the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers. He signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals in July. He has played 121 NFL games with 45 starts to his name, registering four forced fumbles, 202 tackles and 16.5 sacks in his career.
He was listed behind Benson Mayowa and Vontarrius Dora on Arizona’s DE depth chart this preseason.
Wilks announced the news Monday while also confirming a previous report that running back D.J. Foster had suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s contest.
