The Cardinals signed wide receiver Montay Crockett to the practice squad on Wednesday, and released offensive lineman Kyle Friend.

Crockett was an undrafted rookie out of Georgia Southern and spent time with the Green Bay Packers and on the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017.

He was a practice squad member with Jacksonville and elevated to the Jaguars active roster for two games last season.

He was released following the Jaguars preseason in 2018.

In college at Georgia Southern, Crockett played in 47 games and had 32 catches for 535 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 144 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns.

Friend has had two stints on the Cardinals practice squad this season after signing on Oct. 16 and released ten days later to make room for kicker Matt McCrane.

He was resigned on Oct. 29 and has been on the practice squad since that date.
