If you’ve been to an Arizona sporting event at any time over the last 30 years or so, chances are you’ve heard at least one of this line.
“Lemonade, lemonade, like Grandma made!”
Or maybe you heard in a classic voice, “You know you want it!”
If you haven’t heard either of those phrases, chances are you are either lying (to yourself, not us), or just haven’t been to many games. It’s cool. There’s still time to fix the issue.
At any rate, we bring this up because Derrick Moore, the man behind those famous phrases, is in the running to be named Major League Baseball’s top vendor.
MLB.com has been running a contest pitting some of the league’s best vendors against each other, and the D-backs’ Moore is currently in a finals matchup with the Pittsburgh Pirates’ Rick Szeflinski. As of Friday morning, Moore is carrying roughly two-thirds of the vote.
