Michalek has come and gone from the Coyotes multiple times over the past few years. He most recently left the team in March when he was traded to the St. Louis Blues.
Despite a history of consussion issues, Michalek is known for his shutdown style of play and will likely be reunited with Coyotes star defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson on the ice.
