Devin Booker becomes fourth-youngest to hit 3,000-point mark

Nov 6, 2017, 11:26 PM

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker joined some good company when he became the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to reach 3,000 points Monday night.

Only LeBron James (20 years, 62 days), Kevin Durant (20 years, 144 days) and Carmelo Anthony (20 years, 307 days) reached the 3,000-point mark faster than the 21-year-old (21 years, seven days).

After finishing his rookie season with 1,048 points, Booker increased his production in 2016-17, dropping 1,726. He’s currently at 238 points through 11 games this season.

Booker ended the night with 18 points, two rebounds and two steals as the Suns fell 98-92 to the Nets. Before Monday’s outing, the guard averaged 22 points this season.
