With four days left for fans to vote for NBA All-Stars, Suns guard Devin Booker has fallen one spot to 10th in the guard voting for the Western Conference.

Booker is ninth in the league in scoring averaging 24.9 points per game and has favorable numbers compared to several players on the list.

Among players who surprisingly lead Booker in the voting, San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is ranked fifth on the list, Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul is ranked sixth, and Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball is ranked seventh.

Ginobili ranks ahead of Booker despite averaging 15 points per game less. Booker, in his third NBA season, also averages more threes, rebounds, assists and steals than Ginobili, who is in his 15th season.

Rockets’ newcomer Paul has better averages in rebounds, assists and steals but has only played in 23 games this season. Booker has played in 32 games this year.

Ball, the Lakers’ highly-publicized rookie, is also ahead of Booker in the voting despite horrid shooting struggles. Ball’s shooting percentages of 34.9 percent from the field, 29.8 percent on threes and 48 percent from the free throw line are simply rotten compared to Booker’s line of 44.2 percent from the field, 39.4 percent on threes and 86.9 percent from the free throw line.

Since the first voting returns, Booker has been passed by Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler.

Booker is hoping to represent the Suns, who haven’t had an All-Star since 2012 when Steve Nash was selected to the team.
