The Phoenix Suns have secured the best NBA Draft Lottery odds for the 2018 draft.

With one game left in the season after they fell at home to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday evening, 117-100, the Suns have locked themselves into having a 25 percent shot at earning the first pick, a 21.5 percent chance of earning the second pick, a 17.7 percent opportunity of selecting third and a 35.8 percent shot at drafting fourth.

The outcome became official after the Memphis Grizzlies, who have the second-worst record in the NBA, beat the Detroit Pistons earlier Sunday.

The draft lottery will take place on May 15.

Meanwhile, the Suns (20-61) still have a chance at earning up to three total first-round picks, but the tumbling Washington Wizards have risen in the upside-down standings, bumping the Milwaukee Bucks’ pick to 17th.

Heat and Bucks picks

– Miami’s pick owed to Phoenix from the Goran Dragic trade is top-7 protected.

– Milwaukee’s pick traded in the Eric Bledsoe deal will only convey to the Suns if it falls from the 11th pick to the 16th pick.
