April 11, 2011: Suns 135, Timberwolves 127

The Suns kept it close against the Minnesota Timberwolves for the entire game and gained a late lead, but a close miss by Grant Hill sent the game to overtime. The Suns rallied behind a stellar performance from former University of Arizona standout Channing Frye.

The Good:

Channing Frye hit nine from downtown, setting a career-high in both three-pointers made in a game and points in a game. He put 33 points on the board while shooting 73.3 percent from behind the line.

The Bad:

The Suns were not dominant when it came to rebounding. The T-wolves managed 45 rebounds including 13 offensive rebounds. Robin Lopez, out on a coach’s decision, could have been useful to haul in a few boards.

The Funky:

The Suns set a franchise record for number of total overtime games in a season at nine.
