Suns interested in Jimmer. He’s interested in Suns.

Depending on which reports or rumors you believe the Phoenix Suns are either very interested in Jimmer Fredette or hesitant because of his reported defensive shortcomings. Today we got definitive word — well, at least as definitive a word as we can before the draft — that they have interest in the BYU standout.

On Thursday New York Newsday’s Knicks beat writer Alan Hanhn reported that Jimmer will workout for the Suns brass.

Jimmer has three workouts left on his schedule: Kings, Jazz and Suns. He worked out for Pacers on Tuesday.less than a minute ago via TweetDeck Favorite Retweet Reply

It’s not just the Suns that are showing interest in Fredette though. The one named sharp shooter from Utah is also interested in the Valley of the Sun. In an interview Thursday with the Arizona Republic’s Paola Boivin he said coming to Phoenix would be ‘a good situation’ for him.
